St Mary's NS Knockbridge

At the end of November the Book Fair once again visited our school and gave parents and pupils an opportunity to purchase books. A big thank you to our secretary Louise who organised and ran the Book Fair with the help of some of the Senior Pupils. Many thanks to all the parents who supported it by purchasing €3082 worth of books, which is no mean feat in these challenging times. This entitles the school to receive €600 in cash which we will use to purchase books for our school library.
In conjuction with the Book Fair there were a number of book related activities taking place throughout the week including Buddy Reading (children from the Senior classes paired up with the Junior classes and read to them) and DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read).
