Credit Union Art Competition

Congratulations to Emma 5th class, Amy 4th class and Jordan 5th class, who were winners in the BHK Credit Union Quiz. All three received cash prizes.

Book Fair Winner

Following on from our Book Fair in December, a big congratulations goes to Seán a pupil in 2nd class who won the anagram competition which was on the back of the leaflet handed out to all children. Seán is now the lucky owner of a Nintendo Lite DS. Well done Seán!

Recycling Competition - Christmas Decoration

It is that time of year when Louth Local Authorities run their recyling competition for Primary Schools. The challenge is to make a Christmas Decoration from recycled materials. Congratulations to Niamh, Amy, Ben and Hannah whose enteries were chosen to represent the school and are on display in Millenium Hall. They were awarded the following prizes:

Overall Competition: 2nd Amy
Advent Calendar Section: 3rd Ben
Small Hanging Decoration for tree: 1st Hannah
Carolers Section: 3rd Niamh

They are pictured above with their decorations and with Mrs Rankin who presented them with their vouchers at the December Assembly. Missing from photo is Niamh.

Congratulations to Sabrina and Mark who recently won a Road Safety Colouring Competition. They were presented with their prizes at the December Assembly.

Taste of Louth 2011 Colouring Competition

Congratulations to Sarah who won 1st Prize in the under 8 section of the Taste of Louth Colouring Competition. She is pictured here receiving her prize of a Art Set from principal Mr McDonnell. The school also received a €100 voucher for Corcoran & Donnelly Ltd. The prizes were sponsored by Friends of Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland.
